Mary and her family have lived in the West Valley of Phoenix for almost 20 years. When Mary isn’t spending time with her husband, two daughters, son in law and grandson, she is cooking or traveling (mainly to Disneyland.)
Mary is no stranger to the tax and accounting industry. She has over 30 years of experience, gaining her Enrolled Agent Certification during that time. In 2014, Mary took a leap of faith and started MLR Professional Tax and Accounting Services, leaving the corporate world behind in pursuit of supporting small businesses. MLR now proudly serves over 2,000 clients and 500 businesses by offering personalized services catered to each individual/businesses needs.
Mary treats every client like family, always offering assistance when needed. Whether it’s a weekend phone call to strategize tax planning or a meeting in the office, Mary is attentive and hands on.
After 7 years of successfully building MLR, Mary saw the additional support that clients were seeking and decided to partner with two local professionals to add legal and financial services, giving clients a “one-stop-shop” for financial health and wellbeing.
From here, Arete Financial Solutions was born. Arete, meaning “striving for excellence” in Greek, is the exact concept Mary wanted to instill in her company.
With the world of financial services being ever changing, Mary is excited for the mark she has left and will continue to leave in this industry.
